Welcome to our Farmhouse

La Frescura Agriturismo is surrounded by a lush citrus garden. It offers hospitality in a typical Sicilian 'masseria' dating back to the end of the 18th century, well-preserved and meticulously renovated according to the typical aesthetic canons of Sicilian tradition. The privileged geographical position of the masseria, set on a hill a few kilometres from the sea, makes the climate particularly pleasant, mild in winter and cool in summer. The view sweeps from the Gulf of Syracuse to the Anapo Valley, with Mount Etna in the background. An ideal place for a relaxing stay, where you can spend a holiday in contact with nature.

Farm

The Treccarichi family, who own the farm, live there all year round and welcome their guests with cordiality and courtesy to ensure a pleasant stay. Our farm produces orange, lemon and mandarin trees, pomegranates, olives, almonds and walnuts.

The Farm House

The 'masseria' that holds La Frescura agriturismo is a typical example of Sicilian rural architecture, characterised by the central 'baglio' (courtyard) around which the rooms develop. The conservative restoration completed in 2007 has maintained the original structural characteristics, stone arches and stone walls, ceilings with exposed wooden beams, and a large panoramic terrace. The eleven lodgings available have independent entrances, are different from each other and are furnished with simple but refined taste, equipped with everything necessary to offer maximum comfort to our guests.

Breakfast

On our farm we produce all our products with love and passion, with seasonal fruit and vegetables, we make fruit jams and marmalades, liqueurs, orange blossom honey, we produce extra virgin olive oil. You will also find a selection of local products. We serve an assorted sweet and savory breakfast with farm products and local products, which can be booked on day by day at the farmhouse.

A paradise

The Masseria is surrounded by a luxuriant garden of orange, lemon and mandarin trees extending over 12 hectares, it is possible to take long walks, with comfortable and panoramic resting spots with olive, carob, almond, walnut trees and Mediterranean essences. In the evening, the old masseria is transformed into an enchanted place of shadows and scents and invites you to spend pleasant evenings relaxing.
